Chronic Pain and Medical Conditions
Did you know that Chronic Pain can improve through therapy? I’ve received training from one of the profession’s foremost leaders in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help manage Chronic Pain. If you’re willing to give it a try, I’m here to help.
In my career, I’ve worked with veterans with military-related injuries, and worked as a mental health provider on a team at San Francisco General Hospital focused on people with the most acute medical conditions. I also regularly did street outreach with a doctor while we tried to help those who needed it most. You shouldn’t have to worry that any detail of your condition or treatment is going to scare your therapist, and you won’t have to with me.
Terminal Illness
I’ve been there working with clients in their final months, weeks, and days. If you or a loved one have a terminal condition, therapy can be useful to help sort through priorities, find meaning, and work through any relationship issues that often come up during this time.
