My Style

**Supervision services on hold until the BBS allows remote/virtual supervision or until I’m seeing people in person regularly again**

Much like my work with clients, I operate from a strengths-based, collaborative place. I always assume that you as the clinician are doing the best that you can given all the stress of the work itself, on top of each unique workplace’s demands. I believe that you already have the resources and the abilities to navigate the challenges of your practice, but it doesn’t mean that you can be your best without support.

There’s no one right way to do things, and while I am happy to share my own thoughts and experience with similar situations, the best way I can serve you as a supervisor is to help you feel supported, feel grounded in the principles and values of our work, and find your genuine voice in your client-therapist relationships.

Whether you’re interested in formal supervision so that you can earn hours towards licensure under the guidelines set forth by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, or you just want extra support and guidance in your challenging work from someone outside your workplace, feel free to check in to see if I’m a good fit for what you’re looking for.

Group Supervision

In my own experience as a clinician and as a supervisor, nothing has been more instrumental in my own progress as a clinician and my ability to work through my most challenging moments than group supervision. If you’re interested in joining our group for extra support, email me or give me a call to touch base. If you are interested in group supervision for CA BBS supervision hours, please note that I only offer this service in addition to individual clinical supervision by myself or another licensed supervisor with whom you permit me to have frequent and open communication.

My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience in direct practice therapy, case management, and crisis work. I have over four years of management and supervision experience, all while being employed at Swords to Plowshares, a non-profit serving veterans in the Bay Area. In my capacity there as the Clinical Director for non-Residential Programs, I have supervised clinicians working towards licensure, along with managers and direct service staff providing assistance to people seeking solutions to their struggles.

Thus far, each of the clinicians who were earning licensure hours under my supervision have obtained their professional license once eligible to do so. Feel free to look me up on LinkedIn if you’re curious about my work and experience prior to becoming a supervisor.
